Applies to "S tronic" not tip tronic. Hence A5 NOT S5.

Tried this yesterday for the first time with the wife on board.
It defiantly kicks you in the seat.
Fun!

So confirmed it works for S5. Any A5 owner to ascertain whether it works for you?

I’m tempted to try it, but I’m worry about breaking my car.

In the manual, it says press the traction control button briefly. Some people do the 5-second press and hold.

i believe the manual has a chart explaining the different ESC modes, one press is sport mode and one long press is fully off.

Yes, but for launch control, you don’t need it fully off. One press is sport mode for launch control. At least, that is in the manual for the A5.

I keep hearing different stories about launch control in the S5. Can anyone here 100% confirm that you can do it in the S5?
