It could be compounded by dealers choosing their allocations on the lot orders at or around $100K, most of us who are going to spend this type of money is looking for custom packages/combinations that dealers don't have on the lot. For example, I didn't want Napa leather as it doesn't hold up as well as Alcantara - derived from polyester/polyurethane. I did not find any non-napa leather builds. The list goes on, especially for exclusive colors. Am I paying $100K for a build put together by the GM of the dealership who picked Black? I don't think so.

there was a thread on here late Oct or Nov, that I believe mentioned the exclusive paint shop was back online. Hopefully that’s true and you get yours sooner!

The last update I got from Greg @ Audi Exclusive was late Jan / early Feb for the exclusive paint shop to open. Would be great if I can get it sooner but I've waited 4 years for a new car so +/- a month or two isn't really going to kill me.. I don't think hehe.

I went with garnet red. I like a darker red than the standard misano red and it kind of changes depending on the angle and lighting.

If you have a production week of 1419 then you should have the same ETA for production complete of 3/29/19.

When is your ETA on builds/delivery? Would love to see it. My build still has not locked and although I love Nardo...the other colors are so tempting. Ugh.

And keep in mind the TBD dates will slide/change as it progresses through a large company. You'll love your A5! I wouldn't be surprised if you get yours sooner than you think!

I haven't got anything firm yet except for a possible build time of mid-march which in theory would put the delivery around May/June.

I haven't seen the color in person except for a small paint sample card. There is a HD quality video of a Q5 in the color on YouTube that I keep watching.. It shows the color in all sort of lighting.
