Triguy, you've so made my day. I saw this hitch on etrailer yesterday for the `18 A5 coupe and immediately wondered if it would fit my S5 cab (which is the same color as yours). Thank you for being the guinea pig and posting your results. There's going to be an identical S5 cab in Oregon in about a week.

Thought I'd share too. I installed the hitch myself, so I can contribute a little knowledge...
The drain plugs for the B9 S5 cab don't look exactly like the ones pictured in the Curt Mfg installation instructions, but they map just fine. The one on the driver's side popped out with no effort, the one on the passenger's side had to be cut out with a utility knife.
Here's where the driver's side pass-through bolt goes in the trunk.
And the passenger's side.
The instructions say the fascia needs to be cut about 5" wide x 2" deep. Based on the photos from Triguy, I did 4" wide (still too much) by 2" deep (too little, the fascia would hit the hitch when reattached). I had to take the partially installed hitch back off and re-cut the fascia deeper. The photo makes it look like the fascia and the black hitch are touching, but there's a wee bit of clearance. Were I starting over, I'd target a 3" x 3" cut. None of this matters aesthetically, you can't see it unless you get below the car and look.
I didn't take a picture, but it's basically impossible to fit a torque wrench on the outermost bumper bolts unless you get the mufflers out of the way. Everything else was easy to torque to spec.
End result, I'm a very, very happy camper.

This is awesome to see. Going to do this to my SB when I get it in a few months.
Do you have any pics of the car from the side without the rack mounted? I'm curious how much the hitch sticks out from the car?
Thanks, and nice job!
