Nope. Your $31,000 Ford Fusion has this, oh, BMWs and Mercedes as well. Audi say no to us in the USA.

I think it is more than "coding" and the button switch in the blank in the dash. If you look closely you can see additional sensors in the wheel arches front and back that I suspect are part of the auto parking system...

Yep... Mercedes E has it in the US for at least 3 years... go figure why Audi does not.

I'd gladly forgo the sunroof for that parking tech - but that wasn't an option for us in the US.

Do the Mercedes C Class or BMW 3/4 Series have it? Those are the competitors to the A5.

Good question... looks like MBUSA does offer it for the C class. I glanced at BWM website but couldn't find it for the 3/4 series. So, MB offers it and now they also offer vehicle remote start...

The remote start via an app (like GM has) is one thing I'd really like. I'd be nice to get into a cool car in the summer or warm car in the winter.

But, alas, it's a major no-no to have your vehicle idling in Germany. You don't see cars sitting unattended on a wintery day just warming up. I doubt Audi will add this option until that attitude changes.

Good lord... park assist + remote start on VWs (2018 VW Atlas - Full-Size SUV | Volkswagen)... no excuse for Audi anymore.
