Is your Chamberlin the Model B970? I'm thinking of replacing my 2009 Craftsman with the B970.

Homelink buttons
2018 S5 Sportback. Initially I could not sync with my garage doors either. It felt like button 1 was working properly, but would not sync, and button 2 and 3 didn’t feel like they engaged when pushed. I took it to the dealer, they found the buttons were not assembled correctly. They fixed it, then it synced straight away to two old garage door openers and one new.

I too was banging my head against the wall trying to get my garage door remote working with my 2018 A5 Sportback and today I bought this remote https://www.homedepot.com/p/Chamberl...EV-P/202867903
Once I started the process again with the new remote I had immediate success, I just had to take the extra step of pressing the red button on my ancient garage door opener to complete the process via MMI.

2018 A5 Sportback Homelink Trouble
I have been able to link my two garage door openers to my Homelink however, while the Homelink will open the doors upon exiting the Homelink will not open the doors no matter how close I am to the doors. Anybody experiencing this problem? Solutions? Audi has been no help whatsoever!

Lol it’s been a while since the homelink thread popped up.
Yea, the Audi instructions are not correct. I have an older liftmaster. I had to press a button on the actual motor to sync.

I’ve never bothered — I just have the LiftMaster supplied remote on the visor. It has great range and works even if the car is not powered up.
