Need to run wires for V1 install. Without the B&O, the posts I have viewed indicate that there is a screw behind the "Airbag" logo that needs to be removed. With the B&O there is a speaker there. Does that grill just pop off, revealing a screw? Thanks

I was able to run a wire up the A-pillar for my dash cam by pressing the wire between the A-pillar trim and the windshield with a trim removal tool.

I was not brave enough to attempt the removal with the B&O system even though I did it successfully with my previous A5 (which was just as you stated - remove the screw behind the airbag logo).

Why don't you just tap the power from the mirror?

I think I will go that route, thanks. That's what I did on my A6, but it was easier to get to than this A5.

I did that for my radar detector.

I didn't have the proper 12v to micro usb converter for the dash cam so I just ran the included cable to the 12v outlet in front of the cup holders. It's actually pretty subtle and works well as it is.

Completed my Val 1 install this morning. Tapped wires going to mirror/rain sensor. The yellow wire is +(pos) and the brown is -(neg).
