Thanks so much for the opportunity. Can't wait to see these mounted up!

Curious - if you were going to replace the wheels, why did you order the forged/milled-cut wheels instead of keeping the standard 20" Black optic wheels?

An excellent question.

I can understand. Plans to use OE wheels for winter but doesn’t like the BO wheels and really likes the Forged option ones. Then needs an aggressive styled wheel for summer.

Not much different that say someone who doesn’t plan on driving on the BO wheels/tires and has 19” winters and different forged 20” wheels for winter.

All of the RS wheels are forged. And the milled wheels are not designed to be winter wheels for heavy winter duty. If you look at OEM winter wheels, they are always painted silver so they withstand corrosion. And a 20x9” wheel is a bad choice for a winter tire.

But regardless, I do like the BBS wheels.

Exactly. I couldn’t find a winter wheel setup that I liked and I really like the milled wheels. Sure, they will need to be maintained, but that’s fine. Edmonton doesn’t see a lot of salt. It gets COLD and stays cold. Salt doesn’t do anything out here mid-winter. Car gets grounded during major meltdowns.

And the milled wheels aren’t wide enough for the 295s that I’m getting mounted this afternoon. Fingers crossed the 295/30/20 fit. Will know in a couple of hours!

When winter inevitably returns the car will get grounded again...
