Probably not.
Toyota did it on the new Avalon. Maybe Audi will follow suit.

Really? So the LED's will dim and turn off? Hopefully, when the S5 gets refreshed, it follows suit.

Yes and if the order guide is correct, A6 gets HD matrix laser lights as an option.

Probably not.
the US laws are a bit weird with this. I didn't see an A6 at the event I recently attended but on the A8, they get around the issue by having the initial "segment" light up, and then sweep from there.

The thing I don't like about these automatic headlights is they don't care about pedestrians. I was walking my dog late at night on a back road the other day and this idiot just kept on shining his high beams at me. I now carry a high power flash light just to shine it back into their face when they do that.
