Audi S5 Engine and major gearbox problems!

Audi S5 Engine and major gearbox problems!
I have had the S5 Sportback (B9) for only 8 months and in this time my car has spent around quarter of the time (around 2 months) in repairs. At just 3000 miles my engine cooling fans were replaced due to them being faulty.
Now, at 9000 miles, my car is in Huddersfield Audi for the following faults:
1) gearbox overheating
2) clutch temperature overheating
3) torque converter fault
4) AC not working
5) climate control panel faulty
6) glue coming through the Alcantara on one of the door panels
Anyone else having these issues?

Wow, that is quite a list. I am sorry to read everything you have been going through. I too am coming up on 9,000 miles and 8 months, but the only thing I have had is some squeaks and rattles that my dealer has been ironing out.

Overheating gearbox?
Hi everyone?
Just bought an S5 with 8K miles on it, 1.5 years old.
Have set my individual drive select to exhaust noice and comfort gearbox in individual settings.
Seems some heat is emmited from the sides of gearbox under the gear lever. Is this normal and what is the reason?
Car has been imported from UK to Cyprus.
At the beginning i noticed this when i switched gearbox to sport mode when sound was even more. Now it also heats as soon as i start the engine and on reverse. Is heat because of sound resonanse under that part of car or a gearbox thing? I don’t know what to think.
Any suggestions, thoughts?
