Seems like cars in the US are getting the transmission update that improves the transmissions clunkiness.

No, 2019's don't have it. The second gen virtual cockpit is on the new A6,A7,A8 and Q8. You can probably find it on Google. I hope the A5/S5 get it though when Audi decides to refresh the car. Everything looks a bit more elegant.

Oh I think you're referring to the new MMI system with the dual touch screens. Thats not the virtual cockpit. I wish the A5 line had it. Looks like they did the refresh on the A5 a year too soon.
