There are at least 2 companies that seem to have cracked the ECU that I know of. You have to ship them your ECU so they can flash them. No one has come up with a method to flash via OBD2 port yet though that I know of.

Same thing with the new ZR1 corvette the ecu has to be shipped out before you can start to have access to it thru tuning software. Seems like there is a lot more then just plugging in the obd2 involved with these new ecu's.

I looked at both of those links, and I'm still not certain that the ECU has been cracked. Its not really clear what's going on (at least to me).

Anything wrong with the MTM M-Cantronic plug-in adapter? Looks to be the same as the ECU flash stage 2 in terms of performance. at $1,799US that is a fair price compared to the stage 2. What's the drawback of the M-Cantronic??
