Default B9 SB B Pillar

Question for those of you who already have your B9 Sort Back: Do you find the the view to your left when turning right into oncoming traffic is obstructed by the B pillar? The web sites interior photo taken from about the passengers mirror looking back towards the drivers door looks like it does. I'd be particularly interested in hearing from those 5'10" to 6'0" (177 cm - 183 cm). Thanks for your input.

I have not had any visibility issues. I am on the high side of your height range and put the seat pretty far back. I use my mirrors to merge and starting to get used to the driver assist lighting up the side view mirror if something is there.

Thanks. I meant more like turning right from a stop, looking back left, into oncoming traffic, rather than an on-ramp type merge.

No. However, I do find the view from the side view mirrors to be very restricted compared to the 2012 S4 that I replaced. I'm not sure if it's do to the placement of the mirror which is a few inches further to the rear than on previous models, or due to the shape of the mirror itself. Whatever it is it certainly makes for larger blind spots. I'm hoping that someone will come out with an aftermarket replacement mirror that is slightly convex to increase the viewing angles.

I really love the all of the sensors the Prestige trim level has - blind spots are totally covered by the tech

If the rear view mirror is identical to the A4, check this thread: https://www.audiworld.com/forums/a4-...irror-2915516/
