Wow, I need to do some research then. I looked at the rate Audi Financial is offering and thought it was too high. Want to make sure I know what the best rate is in my area before I go the dealer.

Emailed the sales manager and told him we were miles apart and that I really would prefer to obtain this car locally...the real question is does he want to work with me?

If not, it's off to the Bay Area I go...

I covered a few hundred miles across Florida before finding an accommodating
Dealership.
It is a chore and a challenge but obviously worth the effort.
As backup joined Audi Car Club in case.
Close proximity is preferable for service and pickup .
As the model year progresses things should get easier for S series.

Ya I have been looking at true-car for the past month before going to the dealer and it seems that there is room to negotiate. Even when I went to the dealer the sales lady I am working with, talked to her manager and said we can work a deal out based on what I wanted. So, I think it should be a little easier to get something off vs. nothing.

LOL...I hear you...but I really can't take delivery until the end of October when the F-Type goes back, no where to put it.

I feel pretty good about my deal. I got 8.69% off MSRP of $68795 for a price of $62816. The car had some extras on the MSRP that couldn't be removed for example a first aid kit and rear cargo net. Neither is worth the retail price so be it. Also got a decent / not great / but decent trade in for my 2013 Q5 3.0 with 59k miles. This is for a S5 SB.

I think you are doing well if you can knock off what you will pay in sales tax & licensing.

But your deal is excellent.
