Mid-Life Crisis

Hi, I have a Valentine 1 which right now I have affixed to the windshield via suction cups. I want to go with a Blendmount to mount the V1 right below the rear view mirror and have it and a remote display hardwired. I've owned a few Blendmounts for several other vehicles, but Audi always seems to be a fit problem. If you can't find the exact type of rear view mirror, the company wants you to take a picture and send it to them. Then they will send you what they think is the correct one. I'd like to know if others already have one in their '18 S5 and which part number you went with. Thanks!

I had a Blendmount for my previous Audi S3 -- it required the Audi-specific mount they had. I found that it left my detector very low and blocking my view. Blendmount was also pretty expensive as I recall. For my S5SB, I have the detector on the left-side of my mirror assembly with a small piece of industrial velcro, with a MirrorTap for power, and I'm much happier.
