Last Friday, I took my 2014 S5 with 27K miles in an Audi dealer for oil change and SA told me that my car needs front brake pads and rotors replace since they are worn to the minimum thickness. He said it would cost me $1100. What the hell? I dont track my car and I drive my S5 as normal as most people. I don't believe him but nicely declined. I will check the brake this weekend to make sure they are still in good shape - I don't believe the OEM brakes and rotors need replacement at 27K miles with normal driving.

Hey you got 10K more than I did. Had the brake wear worn warning go off at 17.5K. Rear brakes... dealer wanted to replace the rotors also. I said no thanks. Still cost $500 and the front brakes are getting close also and that one is even more. Also had to replace all 4 OEM tires so that was another 1K. Had my A6 for 4 years and never needed brakes.
