Default Bumper Rip

Bumper came lose after i hit a pot hole and tore the mounted part in pic 1. It's the only thing visibly broken. Service King said they could fix it out of pocket for $900 and it would be a temporary fix and i risked getting it pulled out on a parking curb. They suggested filing a claim and getting a complete new bumper. Am i getting ripped off? Car has 3 years left in lease. Model A5 sportback S-Trim

Sorry to hear that. Pictures will help us help you, but
your picture links aren't working at all.

Certainly got damaged, but that can definitely be fixed and made to look normal for A LOT less.
If you were by me, I would fix it for you for $250 max in my garage.
Find a smaller body shop and tell them to do what they can.
