A5 SB just seems nicer and it rides nice. I drove the 430i gc and don’t recall it being much different than the SB. I decided to order SB since it had a better overall package.

I drove the 440i which is probably closer to the S5 but I was definitely underwhelmed. I wanted to like it as I was coming out of a 328xi but there was no improvement and little to no change on the interior. The steering was a little sketch going into a corner too (it was a high speed turn with no AWD). Comparatively, the A5 I test drove felt quick and agile. The interior was also leagues better than the BMW counterpart.

In short, BMW needs to step up in order to catch up. Hopefully with the new platform coming in 2020(?), they do that.
