Default Ceramic coating by Lig Protec

I was looking for paint protection technologies and this ceramic coating seems intereting.
I will propably try this on my S5 SB when it arrives. This should eliminate the need for clear vynil wraps on the hood and bumpers. Any thoughts or suggestions? I have never even heard of ceramic coatings before and I am not 100% sure yet...

Your opinions would be most appreciated.

From what I understand, the ceramic coatings don't replace the protection from vinyl wraps. They protect against dust, grime, bird poop, insects, and make the car much easier to clean. The vinyl wraps protect more against scratches, rocks, and heavier abuse.

Many people get both (the ceramic can be applied over the vinyl).

It will not replace the clear bra. The ceramic coating is meant to be a very durable wax type coating that will last longer than a typical wax and provide a glossy look to the paint.

It will not protect against road debris damage like rock chips in the front hood/bumper area. For that you will want to look into a good clear mask.

I think I will go for a clear bra with a ceramic coating then. I want a good protection for my paint during the winter season.
Thanks for the replies
