Uh oh, I just ordered my S5. . . do I wait or just move forward. Decisions, decisions.

Here’s a video on the Q3. I’m thinking the new look will mimic this setup. Details around 6:30.

Possible new VC look and some details about the touchscreen.

They already had that, they just switch it off for Americans. I sometimes use it on longer trips on boring roads.

Ahhh, wasn't aware of they turned it off for the US.

The new A4/S4 look is not like that. Here it is: https://www.topgear.com/car-news/first-look/new-audi-a4

No word on A5/S5 yet. May not change until MY21.

The new S grill resembles the facelifted R8 grill. I quite like it.

Hmmm, the touchscreen looks the same and I was also referring to the option for the third view in the VC. Figured the functionality may be the same but not the rest of the dash, etc.

Good point on MY 2021 for the A5/S5. Decided I’m going to stick with my order. Although I like the idea of the newest tech, it will be nice to have the same functionality as our other car - Q5 and I will have my iPhone in a proclip mount so I can check email at stop lights so the wireless CarPlay won’t be as big a deal as I initially thought it might be. I’m also not sure how the mild hybrid would drive and if the extra weight of the battery, etc would affect handling, acceleration(although it might actually help) and braking. Also, not sure if defeating *** is as easy in OBDEleven with the mild hybrid.

All in all, I’m super happy with the 19 with some unknowns (including timing) on the next gen so I’m great sticking with my order.

Thanks!

I initially missed the piano black on the center console, but that's another lazy decision. I'm glad that BMW and MB seem to be on their game because Audi is making a string of questionable decisions recently.

Default I never could make sense of Audi's product management...

I was really taken with the 2007 S5 coupe and I passed over something to do with the trunk. As I recall it had a pass-through but lacked folding rear seats. Does that sound right? Anyway I was happy that the 2018 S5 Sportback hit a sweet spot for me, but I'm not at all surprised that the coming refresh absolutely offends me.

I have heard of people putting PPF or ceramic coating on it, but that's just too much work.
I ceramic coated my piano black inlays on my A5, didn't work well. Wish Black Optic you could still choose gray oak

While it's nice to have a bigger screen, the bezels on this one are still huge, so the whole thing looks huge but it's not all screen. I don't really like the squared off huge look, if you didn't like having an iPad stuck on the dash before then this looks even worse.
