You A5s beautiful and is from a prestigious German carmaker. Are you embarrassed or against Audi taking credit for their exceptional product.
You seem to be ashamed of driving an Audi?
Frankly debadging is a generational thing isn't it?
I have owned, Lexus, Caddies, Bimmers, infinities,Nissan Zs,Trans Ams GTAs, Olds cutlasses,
Ones my parents gave me for going to college to those first used cars I bought starting my career.
Never thought to hide the brand. Actually proud of my accomplishment by hard work.
For the life of me taking the identifying logos off of a vehicle is a generational concept not necessarily based on looks but based imho.
Explain it to me as a retired physician baby boomer.
P.s. I love my M performance decal and am especially proud of my DINAN trunk badge showing all the upgrades on my 435i BMW. My Audis coming.

De-badging is done for aesthetics. It makes the car look cleaner, less cluttered. The practice is very common in the motorcycle (cruiser) community, too. Folks often de-badge their bikes and remove as many of the manufacturer's stickers as possible.
It has nothing to do with embarrassment or shame, just as keeping them on has nothing to do with bragging or being ostentatious. Nor is it generational.
And one more thing...on the Audi UK site, their configurator allows you to delete the badges as a no-cost option.

De-badging is an option in Germany as well. I tried to add it to my order (since I was in Stuttgart) but I wasn't allowed to since I was ordering a US spec A5. Most cars in Germany are de-badged.
i see Glisse's S5 (Switzerland) is de-badged also, and here's why.

Here is a head scratch moment...the B8.5 S5 came with fender badges of V6T even though it was Supercharged. I and many owners removed the V6T fender badge and replaced with a Supercharged badge. Ironically, the B9 S5 is a V6T and I don't believe it has a V6T badge anywhere. Go figure!

The supercharge badge is so much nicer than the V6T anyway. I understand you removing it.
Also thanks everyone for explaining debadging to me and NOT making fun of my "generational" references.
Never too old to learn.
