Deer took exceptions to the amber reflectors that the DOT mandates and wanted to help you get rid of them I guess.

Looks very similar to the kamikaze attack that happened to me a few months ago. My hood was repairable, yours will need to be replaced. I also had dents in both driver side doors from when the deer spun off the fender. My guess is that you are looking at between 6 and 8 grand in damages. Hopefully your repair will be as painless as mine was. About 10 days total and when the car came back I couldn't even tell it had any work done. In fact the only thing I noticed was that it looked like it just came from the detailer. Most expensive part of the whole repair will be that headlight - about 2 grand. Make me wish for the days when all cars had either round or square sealed beams that could be picked up off the shelf at the local auto parts store for around $25 bucks.
