good luck man, it suck.
Sorry to hear about the theft. Hope they get what they deserve. On another note, that's a lot of road scraping on the lower front of your car!

yeah I know....I got it all repaired. It was from a rather large pothole a few weeks before that piece was stolen.

Sorry about that pothole. The state of roads nowadays required a lot of dodging. Glad you got it fixed along with the fog light cover.

Default Wow

That sucks man but glad you got it fixed! Can’t believe the level these low-lifes go but Karma will be a bitch to them. The ones on EBay aren’t even for B9s. I guess I’m just going to have to bite the bullet.

I noticed those lower left/right fog light covers were flimsily attached when I changed my lower three to black optic package grilles.
You can just about do what I did for $500 total.

There are no foglights on the B9 - these grills are where the DAP sensors reside, if so equipped! They seem pretty substantial and tightly attached on mine - not loose at all.

Is it just me, or does it look more like you hit something than someone pried the grill off?

I see it too, definitely some flex lines in the plastics. Looks like collision damage, unless they pried it off with a snow plow.

We didn't hit anything and nor did we lose ours, but we just came back from a trip where the roads were very bad. When we returned, and I was washing the car, I noticed that one of these had popped out from the front bottom corner. I don't remember it being like that before. I simply pushed it in and it clicked. So I looks like a part that could easily come off depending on how much body flex there is.

There is a replacement part available for the A4 that comes with actual fog lights on Aliexpress. I wonder when one for the A5 will be available.

Just FYI: On the A/S5's this isn't a fog light cover - it is where the Driver's Assistance Package sensors are located. The fog lights are integrated in the headlights.
