Glacier versus Ibis White

I wanted Ibis, but could only find Glacier in my area. Pick it up this Friday. Very excited as this is my first time owning a german car. S5 Coupe fully loaded in Glac white, S sport package, Audi beam light rings, upgraded wheels, carbon atlas inlays, black interior w gray stitching interior, rear diff, Bang and Oluf sound.

Since ibis white is a solid color. Is it as durable as the metallic paint?
In addition, I read online that ding, searches are more visible on solid color cars compared to metallic paint.
Also, doesnibis white turn color over time due to oxidation ic rays and what not?

The Ibis white doesn't turn color over time, here is my "12" Q7 in Ibis with my A5 Ibis, ( Q7 wasn't washed in the picture)

I prefer Glacier White for the hue and added depth. There are many fans of Ibis White on here, but I think the metallic makes a car look richer and less like a white that could be on a utility vehicle.
