TRUST ME - THEY HAVE WIGGLE ROOM in the pricing especially if they want you to sign that day! We got them to come down a bit from our first price.
That's how I handle most of my purchases... Try the places out and then go to the one I want to go with and tell them I'll sign today if X.

With the trade and down payment to get the loan where I want it to be, I'd essentially be giving them $25k at signing, so they can haggle a little knowing they're getting guaranteed money immediately.

Yup and don't be afraid to pit them up against another dealer and say hey... this is what X is offering

Thats what I plan on doing... Already got a quote from our local credit union for a 2.25% loan for 60 months, so I plan on talking them down from whatever they want to try and give me on that front.

Would someone be able to measure the "mouth" or opening of the hatch? How big of an item can you get in there?

Thanks in advance!

I guess it would depend on the shape of the item you are looking to fit.
I've read in this forum of people putting anything from full mountain bikes (seats down of course) to full sets of rims and tires in the back for transport.

I was thinking like furniture type items... I guess I'll just go in and see for myself, but if anyone has transported stuff like that, let me know!
