Also whatever torx bits and extension you need is in your emergency trunk kit.

Always a good idea but as long as you don’t have the cars electrical system on you should not have to worry about it. I did not disconnect my battery and everything turned out fine.

Good Luck.

IAM so worry about taking the bumper off but I think it's necessary to swap the grille

You must take the bumper off and don’t forget to paint the metal “bumper” behind the grille black.

Stock metal bumper

Black coated metal bumper

There are quite a few “clips” to undo after you get the stock grille assembly off the car — and you have to take your time unclipping all of them to remove the stock grille and reclip in the new grille. This is covered in the video — but they make it look so easy.

Some members have done the swap themselves while some have paid to have it done. If you aren’t handy with tools and aren’t comfortable solving puzzles, you might want to consider finding a body shop to do it for you.

Totally agree. If you have not done basic auto work before, I would suggest you pay someone to get it done.

he speaks truth.

I would work on your neighbor's civic and swap out his cervini predator grill and then after you get some experience, give it a go.
