Default Heads Up display with Tinted front window?

Has anyone with a heads up display car try tinting the front windshield with a clear or lightly tint, did it effect the appearance or function of the heads up display?
thanks

Why would anyone tint the windshield?

It depends on the state, but you can go with 70%-90% on the front to lower the UV rays and lower the temp of the car without really changing any visibility.

Many states allow for the tinting of windshields for medical reasons. NJ which doesn’t allow much of anything, is one.

Yes I had the Llumar Air 80 Ceramic Front windshield heat blocking film applied
and have no issue with the HUD image. If anything the image appears a bit more brighter.

I'm Canadian. Certain provinces disallow tinting to front side windows. This I agree with as the cops should see as much as they can at certain times.

If you're a cancer patient and you're not allowed to be in the sunlight, you may want to have your windshield tinted state depending. You must get a waiver from your DMV, and they'll send you registration for Sun Shading. You must have your doctor sign the waiver form. I'm in Virginia.

I have a tinted front windshield! I can send pics of what the heads up display looks like. I believe my tint percent is 20% or 30%
