Hold Assist retrofit on S5 B9 ?
 

Hi Everyone,

I just bought a Hold Assist Retrofit kit on www.k-electronic.shop for my S5 Sportback. I was wondering if someone has any experience retrofitting this option? I couldn't find any thread on it. It's gonna be my first mod on the car, so I am pretty excited. Any help is welcome.

Looks like a worthy retrofit. I can't provide any information on it, but please share how it works out for you.

Sure will! I am not someone who is that good at technical stuff like this, but the seller will hopefully provide a manual on how to do it. In case it won't work, I will visit a workshop nearby who retrofits on Audi cars and get it done.

Does anyone know why Audi removes this feature in the cars they sell in North America? I never understood this.

Does anyone have experience with both Mercedes' and Audi's "hold" functions? As in, does Audi's work the same as Merc's.

I really miss Hold...one of my favorite car features of all time.
