Just curious. I currently have 30k miles on my S5 SB already, and wanted to gauge and see how long you're planning to drive your S5 B9 for. Thanks!

Some people drive it a lot, some people drive it a little, some people love to talk about how they keep their cars "for 10 years", some people are in and out of a car every 9 months.

Two things are for certain: 1) any reply in this thread is likely just arbitrary speculation 2) it absolutely does not matter.

Same here. Leasing.

Oddly.... when I was younger I was more attached to my toys. Now I love when I get them and I am also happy to return them ... for a newer toy!

A follow up question would be: what are you planning to get after this?
I think for me it's going to be the M340i.

Once I get my RS5 SB in a couple of months, I will likely keep it 5-6 years, maybe longer, but you never know. I have had my 2013 B8.5 RS5 Coupe for just over 6 years and only have 42k miles on it... I obviously don't drive it enough but my commute is short.

I get my RS5 Sportback in a couple weeks and I'll keep it around 4-5 years and put around 60k - 70k miles on it

I'm planning on 8-10 years, 6-8k miles/year. If it becomes unreliable or a money pit, I'll dump it earlier.

Ditto — Or, if I kick the bucket before then, my wife will sell it!
