I'm in the same boat...
That would make sense, comfort will distribute the torque to rear wheels more evenly during turns. On dry road, I did not feel much of a difference between the settings. In my Jaguar, I can feel the outside wheel pushing me thru the turn. My S5, however, do not have as much understeer as my A6, maybe that is the sport differential doing what its suppose to.

Otherwise it's transparent/undetectable for the most part as mentioned.
