Default JB4 for S5 B9

Looking for feedback for those running JB4 for the S5... please share your experience and maps used in conjunction with fuel and any performance hardware.

I’ve recently installed APR Intercooler which really cools the intake temperature across repeated pulls and I’m ready to push the power band up.

I run one, its pretty great, car pulls much stronger.

Only thing that is kind of annoying is it still throws random codes because of the IAT sensor bug, but its easy to just turn the car off and back on and it goes away.

Nothing bad happens, just a light and a beep. Sometimes you get a cel but it's not often and it's not for real codes.

What is annoying about the IAT/CEL bug is that it is not fixed yet.
I have the JB4 too and I get the error in just MAP 1. Keep in mind I have applied ALL four updates, and I have a large FMIC. Issue still persists, though my IATs have dropped significantly.

Yeah, isn't the issue basically that the iat sensor, running through the jb4 throws random 0 readings? I don't think there's any hardware combo that would stop it.

I get some days where it happens 3 times in one long drive and then it won't happen for like 3 weeks. I haven't pinged them recently to see if a fix was incoming ever.

You're right. It's not a complete hardware issue.
It has been months that they released it though and it's still in beta. King of agitating.

Hope the kinks get worked out.

You guys passed the cable through the firewall? If you did, did you seal it up again to prevent fumes going in to the cabin from the engine bay?
