Default My S5 Sportsback Wrapped

Ordered my S5 back in October and it arrived at the end of December. During the wait I frequented this forum on a daily basis and learned a lot from reading all these great threads. Even got some good advice about doing a clear bra and what I should look for in an installer Thank you all. While waiting for my S5 I was able to snag a complete set of Audi OEM rims off eBay for $260. I had them powder coated in black and fitted with Pirelli Winter Sottozero. I ordered my car in Glacier White with the Cavo rims with pretty much all the options except the warm weather package. The one thing I REALLY wanted was the Black Optic package(not available this MY). My goal was to do a clear paint protection with all the edges wrapped. I have had several cars wrapped in the past with a partial hood and fender and was always bother by the transition line so this time I did it right and did the complete hood, bumper and fenders. While my installer was busing doing his thing I was looking at my wife's Land Rover Evoque. The Evoque has a full glass panoramic glass roof and it looks sharp with the white paint. That got me think about my car and I thought about doing a black vinyl wrapped on the back portion of the roof line as a continuation of the S5 sunroof. So I gave my installer some extra work and finally yesterday I got my S5 back. Unfortunately I live in Michigan and its been snowing and the roads are a mess. The car is a little dirt, hope you can look past that.

Killer...leaving the rings shiny is pure genius.

Are all the black trim pieces vinyl wrapped? Are they gloss black, flat black, or matte black? Looks great! Just got an a5 coupe in white and I am looking to do something similar

Man...is it just me that thinks those mirrors look completely out of place on anything other than a Cabrio?

If I were to have an S5, I would have to get the caps or paint those on all but a couple of colors.

I hear you, I already have a spare set I'll either paint body color or try and have them wrapped in faux CF...will try and live with them first.

Yup, I am not a fan of the caps. Odd design choice for sure. Love, love everything else.
