Is it just me or is the AC on the S5 not that great?

I've noticed if you turn off auto recirculation in MMI settings, the AC is a lot more cooler. Especially at higher temps like 70-75 degrees set on the climate control.
I've had to bring down my ac blower speed down a few times because of this, and let me tell you, it's been hot as hell here in SoCal. Temps of up to 112 degrees.
When it is enabled (recirculation mode) I noticed I cannot get cold air @ 75 degrees as the set temperature.
Give it a try.

I find the A/C in my S5 SB works great. In fact, it's often too cold at temperature settings where I'd think would feel more temperate. There are days where it's freezing me out set to 73F with ambient (outside) temps of low 80s. Wife's B9 SQ5 performs similarly. We get plenty of hot days in the Portland area (high-80s to low-100s) and I've not noticed the climate control lacking in its ability to cool the cabin adequately.
Note that I lived in AZ for nearly 20 years, so I know when an A/C is struggling and what hot weather really feels like. ;-)

I keep my AC on the lowest setting, at a temp of 71 to 73. It's rather cold to me. I have 30% tint.
The only time I use auto, when the car has been out in the sun and i want to get the car cool quicker. I work near San Jose, so its pretty warm most days, although the car is in a garage at home and work.
