When I try to go to the manual in MMI, it says it's missing and then asks me to find a source to load it onto the HDD. Online says unavailable and the others are grayed out (USB, SD card, etc.) obviously because nothing is plugged in.

I went to the Audi site and I found the manual using my VIN but it brings up the A5 manual not S5 (assume it's almost identical anyway) but there's no way to download it that I found so I can load onto MMI?

Anybody else have any clue how to load the digital manual? I rarely use it but it's nice to have something digital that (I assume) can be searched in a pinch?

I have an S5 SB and there is no S5 manual, you get the A5 manual. I called Audi Connect this week and was informed that the manual will not be available via the MMI. The videos on previous models will now only be available online.

Wow that sucks. Is it just for now or forever. Seems like an oversight and no clue why they can't just stick the A5 manual there if that's what they have

There are no MY18 manuals for the MMI. Don't know if they will come out with them or not.

yeah i want to get the owner manual installed electronically on my car too, any ideas on how to do it? thanks

My S5SB is on its way through the Panama Canal now (not that I'm tracking the boat every five minutes or anything) but I've been spending my time, in part, reading the manual. Audi seems insanely lame only offering an online version via Flash (who else still uses Flash on a web site?) but I was able to "acquire" a PDF of the whole manual.

Should work fine with a reader on your phone, and the text is searchable.
