Missing Rear Door Sill Protector

Has anyone noticed that the A5/S5 SB only includes door sill protectors for the front seats, but not for the rear seats? This must be another small cost-cutting measure, as even my 2011 A4 includes them for all four doors. I searched online, but couldn't find them on any Audi accessory sites.

I noticed that too.... and put xpel in that area. - also added xpel for the side of the front door area, I kept hitting as my leg steps out/in of the car. The name of that piece of the car escapes me at the moment (brain fart). But, I was surprised they hadn't put something there.

My car is missing the sill as well. I'm sure it's not a defect, but a design change.

@Tundraman How easy / difficult is it to use the XPEL product? I'm considering buying some of it for the purposes you used it for. I just wondering how it is to work with.

I just took it to my xpel dealer here in SWFL, They didn't have any cutout pieces for it, so they measured it and did custom pieces to protect it.

Thanks! I think I'll just buy some online (it's pretty expensive stuff) and try and apply it myself.

you're right! I just confirmed that you need to add the RS5 to that list. Even the money we spent we don't get it. My 10 A4 has it but not my 19 RS5. But my 18 Q7 still has it. Our A/S/RS 5 gets no back passenger door sill love v

2019 RS5

I wish Audi would at least offer it as an accessory. I wouldn't mind spending $100 to fix that oversight.
