Someone has already expressed a “want” for a “dislike” button. Might be interesting to see that wish fulfilled.

Naturally. I don't think that's going to happen, much like it never happened on facebook. I also think that if someone truly dislikes a post here, they aren't too shy to muster up the courage to type out a few words..

I "like" it, a lot. It serves as a reward of sorts for those people who post really informative information, and make it easier for others to spot that valuable info too. Now all we need is a way to "dislike" posts so we can down vote posts that don't add to the overall conversation and just server to troll and create conflict. Posts with enough down votes could then get automatically hidden from the thread.
