that makes sense about the heavier engine. Thanks for the explanation.

H&R's installed and the drop is very modest. Rear's only lowered about a half inch but the front's about an inch. Fixed the reverse rake I hated and no rubbing even going fast over speed bumps. I don't think I have to worry about rubbing even with the car fully loaded. Hoping it settles evenly. =)

Which springs did you get?

oh wow, that’s not a lot of drop in the back then. If it only dropped 1/2 what’s the gap that’s still left? I was looking at those too but wanted a flat stance with 0 gap left on front and back. This post is concerning.

If you want zero gap with 19s you should def get the adjustable springs that Nemesis mentioned. There’s about a finger gap in the front and a lil more in the rear. I went with these bc I wanted a conservative drop. If you get 20s the gap is reduced and there’s plenty of pics on this site with 20s and H&Rs that looks like it fits snug. Here’s the drop I got in the front.

yup, glad I followed your input. the drop is more conservative than I thought, esp the rear but it eliminates by rubbing concern. honestly, I think my rears only lowered .25" maybe less. weird, but i'd rather this conservative drop than worrying about rubbing but moreso... the reverse rake which was really bothering me.
