Overhead view - Missing a portion

Hey All,

My overhead / 360 view seems to be missing the some of the image around the two rear corners or whole back of the vehicle. Please see the photo below:

I'm not sure this is related, but I also can't ever get the sport back to open by waving my foot either side to side or front to back. I wonder if it's related to a broken or missing camera...

not sure about the image issue, but the kick to open feature does not work on the RS5 SBs with the BO Carbon package. The carbon fiber rear diffuser blocks the sensor. I have the same issue.

Ah! Good to know, thank you.

There's a peripheral camera calibration procedure where they put two sheets of lane lines next to your car and two boards in front and back and they can line up the cameras (electronically) with the lane lines and dots. I'm pretty sure it's part of the ACC calibration procedure which is expensive.

Was your car come with it like that? If so I'd definitely talk to the dealer and have it repaired under warranty. They'll probably say it's normal but it's definitely not. That black rectangle should line up with your car. If they still refuse ask them to show you another car's camera.

I'm guessing the same applies cars with the Alu Optic Carbon package?

The car did come this way. It has <1,000 miles on it. Sh!t, first problem with an otherwise fantastic car. :-(.

I was planning on an oil change @ ~1,000 miles. It looks like it'll be there a little longer....

As I recall from my S5, there was NO black areas around the car, not even in the 4 corners. Can anyone attest to that?

As requested. NOTE: I am parked on a blacktop parking lot.
