Please keep us informed how you like it compared to your A6.
I am thinking about trading in my 2012 A6 for a S5 SB
Thanks

Well, if you are going for an S5, power won't be an issue. Due to the lighter weight & increased power for the B9, I really can't tell a difference between my A6 & the A5 as far a acceleration & smooth power delivery, so you might want to test drive an A5. Ride is a little firmer in my A5, but I opted for the Sport Package, which I didn't have on my A6. Still, surprisingly comfortable, but if ride is an issue with you, I would recommend test driving one with & one without the sport package. Every bit as quiet and comfortable as my A6. Hated the Start/Stop function, but disabled that today using VCDS. The HVAC seems more consistent in the A5. My A6 would sometimes have warm air from one vent & cold from another with all zones synced. Interior room difference is so small as to be not an issue, but neither car is suitable for 5 adults, unless the three in back are small. The view through the rear window is more limited, but with rear camera, blind spot monitoring & side mirrors, I don't find it to be an issue. I did remove the center headrest, though. Glove box on the A5 is small, but they do give you a storage box to the left of steering wheel, supposedly for the owner's manual, but I don't bother carrying a 400+ page manual in the car. It's available on the MMI & I have it on my laptop in pdf format. Haven't had it a week yet, but I think I made a good choice.

Haven't had any test drives yet but hope to this week.
I always try to deal directly with the sales manager and ask him for best non- negotiable price.
I absolutely hate this back and forth haggling over price.
If I decide to go ahead I will post details, pictures etc.
