Oh lord. I am trying to decide if I want to go with black for my next (two) cars... (RS5 now, and e-tron later.). We are going back and forth on a daily basis. The RS5 is sooooo beastly in black, I can't help loving it. And while I love washing cars, I do wonder how fatiguing it will become. (Used to have a black car 20+ years ago, but have done the white car thing recently.) Anyhoooo.

I am still on the fence. I like all my cars to match (OCD), and the e-tron options are not meshing except black, white, BUT the grays are different. Actually, I am trying to downplay this car. Stealth mode. (In line with Audi’s lineage of RS wolf-in-sheep’s-clothing Avants.) Still between:
a) Glacier White Metalic
b) Mythos Black Metalic
c) Daytona Gray Pearl
I am loving all the cars on this thread, keep ‘em coming.

Do you have black optics package? If not, how did you get all your elements painted in black? I will be looking for some cheap alternative to https://tagmotorsports.com/oem-b9-s5...nt-end-package.

^^Thanks. These all black with black windows look great.
Part of my hesitation is that I have never needed to get my Windows tinted. (Luckily the Q7 came with it from the factory. And, around here, it is not a necessity like it is in CA/AZ, etc)
Where's the Tinting101 thread?
I am concerned about what it will look like in 5-10 years. (Dang, I wish Audi sent them from the factory with the privacy option.)
Part of my hesitation is that I have never needed to get my Windows tinted. (Luckily the Q7 came with it from the factory. And, around here, it is not a necessity like it is in CA/AZ, etc)
