pre sense city vs pre sense front
Can anyone describe the difference between pre sense city, vs pre sense front? Front detects cars approaching quickly (somebody slams on brakes in front of me, or they slowed down and I am approaching quickly - this happens at ANY SPEED.) Is city a lesser version of this where it only works at "city speeds". City also has the addition of pedestrian detection. So I guess is Pre sense city an upgraded version of Front, or is it a lesser form in terms of car detection?.....Or did audi add pedestrian and now want to add city to the name?

You are asking this in the B9 forum, yet your sig says you have a C7 A6 - they operate differently. Assume you are asking about the B9/ MLB Evo platform cars.
All B9 models sold globally have Pre Sense City, which uses the windscreen mounted camera for low speed AEB (up to 85kph).
Pre Sense Front also uses long range forward facing radars which enables high speed AEB (up to 250kph), and may include corner mounted mid range radars which can detect cross traffic. Whether all or some of the radar detectors are fitted depends on the market / options / options packs. You can only have Pre Sense Front if you have a pack, which can be called a variety of things, that has included ACC.
