because the asking prices are hyper inflated on BMW's, particularly as CPO's. Very simple reasons why

Audi CPO's - how much movement depends on one very simple thing - the same simple thing that movement on any used car - what does the owner have into it.

A New, demo car (never registered) still qualifies for all new car incentives. A CPO Audi car does not qualify for any incentives

Seems I'm stuck at 12% off MSRP. I know is a decent deal but for a 2018 I may wait for 2019s to hit and see what 2018s I can get on discount since I'm not really picky on color. CPO not seeing any discount outside of 500.

Will wait it out for a deal since I'm in no hurry and test drive the competition. 440 gran coupes are very tempting.

I ended up in a CPO Premium Plus with 4200 miles on it

Sticker on the Car was $54,245
SLine
Nav/MMI
Cold Weather
Vented Seats
B&O
Wheel Locks
Wood Inlays
All Weather Mats

I paid $43,797, but the dealer I got it from was also $900 better on my trade then other dealers I was working with.

Also no one ever did the AudiConnect on it, so I have that for the 6 months too.

Was only titled in Dec, so I have a full 4.5 years of warranty left.

ever look at the depreciation table on a gran coupe? horrendous.

I just got a friend out of hers - she had put $15k down, and got the car for straight invoice. Flipped $12k, on a 21k mile car with every single option box ticked.

As someone who does this day in and day out - you very well may find a dealer to do more than 12%. It might mean going cross country/region to get it, and it might be on a car that doesn't meet all your specs. Or it might be on a car that is 400 days old and has 800 miles, but has largely spent its time sitting outside. These are the exceptions, as the majority of the inventory out there is under 100 days old, which is about the average time (taking all deals into account) deals take from inquiry stage to putting pen to paper.

Default S5 quote

I'm pricing out a 2018 S5 with: Prestige, S sport, Driver Assistance, Fine Nappa, Carbon Atlas
First all-in quote after looking at one was $64k (MSP $67K). Sound reasonable? Debating how much time to spend shopping around.

You might be able to do a bit better than that, which part of the country are you in and how many Audi dealer within your area?

Northwest where there are quite a few dealers, just not many cars with the colors/options. I'm not in a hurry so will check a few more options and report back where I end up.

Don’t be afraid to look across the country and pay for a transporter. Since you would be buying new, from an Audi dealer, I’m sure they will see the process through from their end.

MSRP on my S5 build was $63k. I got it for 56k, which I was happy with.

about to pull the trigger on an S5 for 12% off MSRP.. wanted to get some feedback from everyone/anyone..

1) Is it worth getting a 2018 now? And if I wait would I still find 12% off a 2019?

2) Seems like I pulled teeth to get to 12% but is it a great price? I've had many dealerships that bailed after 10% off so seems like it.
