Rear headrests too high in Cabriolet
Just an FYI for you guys. I didn't like the high head restraints in the back of my S5 Cabriolet. I took them out but found it look unfinished with the four holes showing. The european version has a low profile that raises up when you need it and stays low when you don't. Through this forum I found www.europrice.us and bought the european head restraints. It looks SO much better. I don't use my backseat so there's no inconvenience to anyone having to raise the head restraint when sitting back there (regularly). They are pricey but after spending nearly 70 grand on a car, I can go a bit more and make it how I like it.

Just so you are aware, the headrests in the rear are larger in the US for our crash regulations. So if you put in the euro headrests, you will have a different level of protection that is not in line with the US requirements.

I had my last car for 3.5 years and had a rear passenger once. The car after that was 10 months and I had a person in the back once for 3 miles. It's meant to prevent whiplash and does nothing structurally. Visibility makes me safer.

@JGA5Cab — That’s a tremendous improvement over stock! Outstanding!
