Rear/side windows sun blinds??
Does any of you have had any kind of experience with this set of sun blinds ? https://parts.audiusa.com/p/Audi__A5/Sun-Blinds-Set-of-3/69107557/8W6064160.html
Here in south Florida is getting hot,and I'm tempted to purchase the set. But I wonder about installation looks, functionality, etc.
Also, I wonder if the screens would interfere with the autodimming feature of the rear mirror's light sensor...
Any thoughts? Thanks

Hi, I have been looking for these, but found out the following - there is none for rear side windows! Because of frameless doors.
The set of 3 you are referring to will give you back and two little triangle windows behind rear doors.
If you are in search for rear door ones (as I am for my kids) please check with your dealer first before you order this.
Cheers

Or...windows tinted instead?
I did go to the dealer, but they also do not know exactly how those screens look like exactly in real life. They showed me a drawing, not a photo, and it shows that the screens will cover the rear side windows too of my coupe. But I can't tell how easy or difficult would be to put them on and off and what they look like. I wonder if I should instead look into windows tinting instead... I have never done that, and I do not know where to start looking except going to Audi dealership and see what they say. Is Audi dealership a good place to have windows tinted?

Most dealerships sub-contract tinting to an outside company.
You are better off finding an independent tint shop in your area (Google search, and then look at Yelp, Google, and Facebook reviews).
If heat rejection is a priority, I recommend ceramic based tints.
Xpel, Suntek, 3M, FormulaOne, Huper Optik, are some of the well known brands.
You should be able to tint an A5/S5 coupe with ceramic tint in the 300-600 range quite easily depending on the brand of tint.
