RS5 Production Complete!
I just got word that my car was completed today! It was originally scheduled to go IN to production on May 23, but that obviously changed. Now, it's slated to get on a ship on May 15, but my dealer said he'd let me know if he sees it being changed to an earlier one. I'm looking at getting it in mid to late June. It was originally looking like mid to late July.

Congrats! Looking forward to seeing some pics. I'm interested to know how many miles the RS has when you pick it up? Mine had almost 50 and according to the dealer no one had driven it.

That's awesome, Chris, congratulations. I wouldn't be surprised if the car came into your dealer by June 1st. Which dealer did your order from?

Does anybody know the typical time it takes to leave Emden after getting this notice? I'm currently scheduled on a ship departing May 15th, but does this suggest it could be sooner? Thanks!

Don't have an answer to your question but at least Audi could have used an actually pick from an RS5. I'm thinking that's an S6.

Chris, your port of entry will be Houston, Texas. Figure about 30 days from production complete to arrival in Houston. Once it is in Houston there will normally be a 2 to 5 day turn around getting it onto a truck (assuming your dealer marked the order SOLD and requested truck delivery), and then there will be another 5 to 10 day transit time from Houston to Seattle. So in total you are looking around 40 to 45 days after it left the production line.
