Indeed. Thats the way per manual but I’m sure there is another way especially if you aren’t concerned About the condition of the ones being removed.

I haven’t received mine yet to attempt an alternate.

Yes I was thinking if you pull them hard enough the clips will just snap off and you can snap the new piece in after.

I had my PPF installer replace side wings / badges and they said it was a pain even while using heat to loosen up the double sided tape. They broke one in half and the other got a nice bend it. Not really a big deal since I was having them replace the chrome ones with the gloss black ones I ordered separately.

I posted a picture of the back of one of the wings that shows the snaps and the double sided tape that holds them to the fender/door.

I was able to get them off with a trim removal tool, didn't have to use a heatgun either. Taking the tape off will take some work but eventually it will all come off. The emblem themselves will likely break in the process.

Hi. Has anyone done the side fender removal lately? Do you just pry them off? I want to replace with OEM black emblems. I don't care if i pry them off and they crack, i just don't want to damage anything on the car itself, like the holes or something where the new ones would clip in. Thanks in advance.

Tried wrapping but pointy corners are brutal. Hair dryer help? I tried for about an hour

Any new/additional info on the side badges? I will be ordering parts this week and want to replace them all at the same time.

I will heat up the side/fender badges and use dental floss to remove/cut the glue. After that Did you just pry it from one side (between the badges) until it popped out?

Thanks
