My new car!
2018 RS5 is my early birthday present to myself (thanks to my wife for pushing me). Test drive was everything I was hoping. Pick her up on Tuesday.

Yes, I have been watching what was coming to local dealers. I wanted a red one with the 5 arm wheels and for the hell of it I called a dealership 30 miles away after not getting very far with the local one (despite emails starting 2/2017) and it was not spoken for. I put a deposit down a week or 2 ago, so it was mine unless I didn't like it. It came in this morning, so I went down and bought it. I will miss the manual transmission of my S5, but it was a fun test ride today! Before I even got in it for the test drive and complete stranger told me it was the most beautiful car he had ever seen...

Thanks and if I was ordering I probably wouldn't have gone for the ceramic brakes, but the pedal feel was outstanding and I certainly like the idea of less brake dust.
