Very nice. Yes, everyone should pony up for the light weight milled wheels.

SYMAWD, that looks very much like a nail in the RR Conti 6 at 280° (just after 9 o'clock), 3rd photo.

Nope it was just a piece of white plastic stuck to the tire.

Or this is just the first sighting of the RS5 Allroad in the wild.

any idea when the sportback is expected in the US and anyone know if it will seat 4 or 5 ?

No word concerning an RS5 Sportback, just rumours for now. It will use the same chassis as the A5/S5 sportback so it will be a 4 seater that can accommodate a kid-sized passenger in the middle rear seat.

Scott Keogh confirmed the RS5 Sportback in an interview back in January. Canadian dealers have been posting about it since August when it was revealed at a dealer conference. It’s arriving in Canadian dealers in November this year and will be priced almost identical to the RS5 Coupe; just the A/S5 Coupe and Sportback. I assume the date and pricing will be similar for US dealers.

They kinda look like a larger version of the OEM rims on my daughter's '16 Civic, lol...

Those certainly mimic the Trapezoid wheel, actually they look easier to look at. I wonder if the designer of the Honda wheel works at Audi now!

Probably a contrarian perspective, but, for that much money, an S6 seems to have more presence. I'm assuming (could be wrong) that the new S6 will be able to be had once one goes north of $80K. My problem (or issue) is that the RS5's front end doesn't seem (to me) to justify some $17K over what would be an undoubtedly similarly equipped (albeit lower performing) S5. I love the look of the RS5, see very little difference inside and, well, I can't see most of us tracking one of these, so -- Meh. And, I so wanted to be compelled to go for one -- now I'm back thinking an S6 may be just right. But, this opinion might be different if I really thought that I would ever drive one of these anywhere but on the public potholes, er, Interstates.

I have one of these on order in Canada. I was originally told my car would arrive late February. With this car landed I would imagine mine won't be too far away. The colour of this car is terrible.
