So, could one order later this year to have delivered in "early 2018"?

The wording of the press release sounds like that's when it'll officially be made available for North America so you probably won't see them on the road until mid-2018.

I put my name on a waitlist here in Seattle. He said their regional Audi guy tells them they'll be arriving in the first quarter, 2018. But they should be getting access to order them when the build sheets are available later this year.

UPDATE: I spoke to the dealer and he said that the order sheets (ordering capability) usually become available 4-5 months before they arrive here on land.

I have an '18 S5 coupe on order. Here in ND end of August or so. I am not committed to buy it, so if build sheets available around then, may order the RS 5 and let dealer sell the S5. Can always hope!

I've tried to find pictures of the RS5 SB with no luck. There's a lot of conceptual drawings out there, but not the real thing. Anyone?

I was hoping that Audi would make the gas tank larger for the RS5, but no such luck according to audi.de. (58L for A4/S4/A5/S5...) I'll be filling up every 500 km now with that car and I'm used to 1000+. Even my Q7 is 750+. Why can't it be at least 65L? /vent

That's because there are no official pictures. Everyone is assuming there will be one but that's it. There's no confirmation from Audi and no test mules.

Yeah. When I first saw the leftmost and center ones, I wasn't sure how much I didn't like them ... until I looked at them more. Actually, I find the far right to be my favorite. I wonder what will be standard in the US: the same 19" ones shown?

"Also, apparently a fuel tank is included as standard. Audi, you spoil us. "

So edgy 🤣🤣🤣🤣

RS5 coupe or sportback is my next car. I'll enjoy my S5 SB until then.
