Lol. Not my intent to piss off our little A5 and S5 siblings!

You have to walk to the other side. It's due to the fact that the tires are unidirectional meaning they are designed to be mounted facing forward. Therefore the driver side the flags will face in opposite direction of the passenger side.

That way when they rotate the tires the wheels will always have the flags facing the way they are now.

You know the phrase you can't unsee things you see? Yeah that's why I don't like this wheel design but it doesn't bother me as I can't see both sets of wheels at the same time and it did cost a pretty penny to upgrade the wheels. The other 20" wheels were omnidirectional but the spokes were too thick for my taste. Maybe if my wheels were stolen off my car I would get something else.

However I can understand why some people are OCD over this.

Never noticed it until he pointed it out lol. Doesn't really bother me. I actually noticed shortly after I posted this that the wheels face the other direction on the passenger side. Makes sense.

Yep! Exactly so all of the vehicles are like this by design. I see that now.

Audi would have to produce two different wheel designs to make an asymmetrical wheel face the same direction on both sides.

I can understand why Audi didn't create two sets of design for these wheels and I can now understand why people don't like the asymmetrical wheel face designs.

@skubeeraw and @Deazy your flags are facing forward. Have you guys noticed this? I've seen several vehicles online and some are facing forward and some are facing backwards. Weird right?

Great now that i know this i'm gonna have it stuck in my head :-). Makes perfect sense though.

Yeah Those are nice I've asked about them before and I believe he said they were replica Audi OEM wheels. I believe I've seen them on the S6 and Q7 before.

I guess that "non-Nardo" term kinda stuck huh ? :) I just wish my car was here so I could post one! My car was supposed to hit Houston on Monday and while the boat it was on did arrive on time, the estimated arrival date jumped out 3 weeks. It was supposed to be 3/18 but the Audi system has said 4/11 for the past few weeks. The info below makes no sense as it normally takes a little under a month to cross the pond... which the boat did by arriving on 3/18.
