Default RS5 snow screen?
my old B7 S4 has a fine mesh snow screen filter in the front of the intake assembly, way ahead of the main intake filter. it had a tendency of getting clogged up with bits of dried leaves and other debris.

does anyone know if the rs5 has a similar snow screen?

The B9 S5 does not show one so I am doubtful the RS5 has one...however the online parts catalogues are not up to date yet.

New airbox design with a cone filter. That initial mesh screen is no longer needed.
